i hope there is a follow-up story so we can see how the child's body reacts to the transfusion. also, i hope when he's older, he realises the religion he was raised in would rather he died.

the wtbts has consistently claimed that early christians did not serve in the military.
where is their evidence to support this when there are many accounts disproving their proclamation?.
fox's book of martyrs disputes the wt claims as does evidence of the roman 12th legion known as the 'thundering legion'.. .
Note also that there is no scriptural reference to Cornelius ever having been assigned microphone duty ; - ; an obvious indication ;that he had incurred the dispproval of the Almighty
hahahahaha exactly the way the WTS would word it. how often did cornelius pioneer? never. his application was rejected by his P.O. because he refused to quit his service in the military.

a congregation here in the uk had so many cases of m.e (chronic fatigue) that it was labelled as the jehovahs witness disease.
i must say that in my old cong.
and locally in other congs., there was an abnormally high percentage of people with this problem.why do you think this was the case?????
wow i thought it was a canadian-based pioneer disease!.. good to know it happens all thru jehovah's united organization

this made me sick when i read it!
it's from the awake july 8/05, the second response.. "my husband and i have tried to have children since shortly after our wedding.
now, years later, we are faced with the issues described in this series.
apparently im still 12, but what's IVF???
well, in my case anyway.
for those of you that may recall my posts about my family and that after i left the wts, how i wrote long (and painful) letters to my nonjw children among others.
i had tried to explain why i had shunned them and how very sorry i was, and for all the mistakes i had made throughout their childhoods as a jw mother.
HAPPY FAMILY DAY!!!

just curious, with all the internet bashing, etc, if a bethelite wanted to have internet access in their room, would it be allowed.. if so, i wonder if they monitor the activity?
a friend of mine stayed at bethel a couple of years ago... he was watching CABLE TV, and at a certain hour, certain channels are cut off. so if it's anything like their cable viewing priveleges, they somehow firewall or monitor or limit the internet access of the bethelite, therefore making it boring and stupid. so why go on?

in my congregation, there is a well established group that does phone witnessing every thursday.
the society actually encourages us to try other avenues of ministry, however it seems like phone witnessing is hurting more than its helping.... even i, the covert apostate, don't mind phone witnessing.
i mean whats not to love?air conditioningfoodsitting around and talkinggirlsdid i mention food?.
So one phone between a group of witnesses? Is this how it's always done?
that is how it was always done when i was a jdub. there are scripts to follow. when i was a kid and it was raining on a saturday morning, most of the time, at least one "car group" would stay at the house where the arrangement took place. the homeowner would usually boil coffee, break out some cookies, grap a token bible... and get cracking! most of the time was spent talking (of course mostly about spiritual things). overall it's a big waste of time, because it's very drawn out and social. but it's a pretty good memory of service, compared to door to door

what would it be?
for me i would get rid of the disfellowshipping!
that's like asking a christian ONE thing they would change about amsterdam. how about starting from scratch with new everything
